An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Admin Assistant to join our Therapies team on a full time, permanent basis at our Hospital in Cawston, near Aylsham.

To act as first point of contact for staff/visitors/patients/callers to the Department of Psychology and Therapies, ensuring queries are dealt with or redirected to the most relevant person.
To provide a secretarial and administrative service to the Department of Psychology and Therapies, including typing, filing, audio typing, copy-typing, photocopying and the use of management information systems and e-mail to support the smooth and effective running of the Department.
Deal with telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries from a variety of sources, providing information and directing and prioritising queries as appropriate to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery.
Organise, prepare, compile and distribute agendas along with supporting papers for multidisciplinary team (MDT) and departmental meetings and provide administrative support including minute taking.
To manage the documentation of MDT meetings and assist departmental staff with preparation of Care Programme Approach (CPA) reports.
Update patient information following MDT meetings, including progress graphs, risk rating and updating of risk assessments.
Provide administrative support for a range of meetings and events organised by Psychology and Therapies department e.g. organizing dates, booking venues, organising equipment etc.
Effectively prioritising own workload and requests for administrative support by being flexible and highly responsive to meet deadlines.
Good understanding and working knowledge of the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel.
Advanced Keyboard and word-processing skills with a high degree of speed and accuracy. Will have previous experience of audio and copy typing.
General administration experience (at least 1 year) and able to take accurate minutes and notes
A formal qualification in secretarial studies/business administration such as NC/SVQ II, or equivalent knowledge gained through previous secretarial experience.
Excellent communication skills within a range of situations.
Confident in dealing with patients, visitors and staff

Be able to prioritise within a pressured environment with efficient/effective use of resources, to meet deadlines
£17,500 per annum, Full Time, Permanent, 37.5 hrs per week (Monday to Friday, 0900 til 1700).
