You will provide a high quality Reception and Switchboard Service for the Hospital and act as the company’s front of house representative, ensuring an appropriate and professional image is presented to all visitors and callers. Job Overview and Responsibilities:
Receive all visitors in a helpful, courteous and professional manner to ensure they are welcomed and given a good first impression of Jeesal Answer switchboard in a timely manner, being clear, concise, helpful and professional and direct calls to appropriate department. Take accurate messages for calls that cannot be transferred, ensuring these are passed on as soon as possible Sort incoming post into relevant departments. Sort and frank outgoing post, including recorded deliveries Maintain meeting room bookings and diary system. Prepare rooms prior to meetings and clear rooms after use Provide administrative support as required, including typing, photocopying, scanning, laminating, distributing documents, sourcing documents, including assisting in the updating of manuals, including policy and procedure manuals
NVQ2 in Customer Care or equivalent Competent with Microsoft Office, especially Word and Outlook. Experience using spreadsheets would be desirable. Good telephone skills, with clear and understandable speech High accuracy in all work, with strong attention to detail in task completion You will have a minimum of 1 year experience in a Reception role. Experience of working in a hospital setting would be advantageous but not essential. Good verbal and literacy skills Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Salary and Benefits
Salary dependent on experience, with an excellent training programme and a commitment to ongoing personal development. Full time, 40 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 0830 til 1700
