We are looking for a Senior Team Leader to join our dedicated team of care professionals at our Treehaven residential home, located in West Runton, Cromer.
40 hrs pw. Full Time, Permanent. To include weekends. £9.36 Per hour
Under your direction and leadership ensure the highest standards of care and support is delivered and maintained to all service users encompassing all appropriate aspects of daily living.
Under the direction of the Service Manager, manage the care and support staff team which will include regular supervision and staff appraisals.
Manage the staff rota and the allocation of staffing levels working in conjunction with the Service Administrator.
Participate in the on-call rota with the Service Manager ensuring that all out of hours issues/emergencies are covered and managed accordingly.
Act as the service Health and Safety co-ordinator ensuring that all aspects of Health and Safety and Infection Control are managed effectively.
To ensure that all service users needs are met as per their individual care and support plans, and that there is consistency in the delivery of these plans.
Be responsible for ensuring that all staff are current with all statutory and mandatory training and that other training requirements are met working in conjunction with the Service Manager.
Should have or be working towards a minimum of a Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification in Health and Social Care.
Should have accurate written skills coupled with sound report writing capabilities and experience of record keeping to a high standard of content, accuracy and presentation.
Should have a positive attitude and commitment to service users, their development and the service as a whole.
Should have leadership and team working skills and experience.
Needs to be able to manage a demanding workload and tight deadlines, make decisions and act effectively and appropriately to all situations.
Need to have experience of working with people who have a learning disability and other complex needs that may present with challenging behaviours.
At Treehaven we provide the opportunity for eleven people with a learning disability to create their own home.
Opening in 1988, we have successfully provided residential care on a highly individualised basis to a mixed gender group of eleven people with a learning disability and associated needs, such as autism. We have a high ratio of staff over a 24-hour period to ensure we can support and enable individuals with complex behaviours to lead an active and fulfilled life, achieving their personal goals.
