Jeesal Cawston Park is a private hospital registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) set in 125 acres of beautiful Norfolk countryside.

We have purpose built units and facilities that offer varying levels of physical, procedural and relational security in line with individual need. These include The Manor, The Lodge and The Grange, which together with our step down facilities allow for the patient’s smooth transition back to their local community, and thereby create full and comprehensive Care Pathways.

We offer a full assessment package and patients are assessed for multi-axial diagnosis, psychological formulation and risks using a variety of standardised assessment tools. Their progress is monitored through Care Programme Approach reviews.

We aim to

• Accommodate people within the Hospital for the shortest time necessary to enable their recovery.
• Plan with the patient, their family and their community support team an appropriate pathway of care, with a focus on discharge from the point of admission.
• Work in open partnership and in collaboration with external professionals responsible for a patient’s care, and their family where appropriate, to help ensure they receive coordinated and consistent support.

• Assessment, treatment and care for adults with a learning disability and/or underlying psychiatric disorders or complex needs, whose behavioural deviations require treatment within an in-patient facility.
• A humanistic, therapeutic culture of mutual respect, aimed at encouraging the dignity of the person through developing their self-esteem and promoting supportive personal autonomy.
• A high quality functioning environment and positive clinical approaches for patients and their families.

In line with our values and person-centred service we offer a personalisation budget to all new clients. These funds may be used to redecorate their new accommodation to their taste, buy new furnishings, linens, towels and technical equipment to enable the individual to make their stay as comfortable as possible.
