Treehaven Bungalows

At the Treehaven Bungalows we provide the opportunity for eleven people  with a learning disability and /or autism to create their own home

The Treehaven Bungalows are named Woodys and Reynolds and are purpose built and interlinked. We opened in 2005 and with our high staff ratio on duty throughout the 24-hour period we can support and enable individuals with complex behaviours to lead an active and fulfilled life, achieving their personal goals.

The Treehaven Bungalows are divided to provide four apartments

• Woodys provides four ground floor bedrooms with two en-suite shower rooms and a specially adapted bathroom. There is a fully fitted kitchen enabling tenants to participate as fully as possible in preparation of meals and drinks. There is also a large communal lounge and dining area. The separate annex provides a one bedroomed apartment for an individual with the flexibility of accessing communal areas if desired.
• Reynolds mirrors the layout of Woodys, providing five ground floor bedrooms with two en-suite shower rooms and a specially adapted bathroom. There is a fully fitted kitchen enabling tenants to participate as fully as possible in preparation of meals and drinks. There is a large communal lounge and dining area. The separate annex provides a one bedroomed apartment for an individual with the flexibility of accessing communal areas if desired.
• The interlinking area between the two bungalows provides an office and a second lounge, together with the sleep in room.
• The bungalows have large, separate and secure garden areas that are enjoyed.
• The tenants are actively encouraged to personalise their bedrooms and take an active part in any decisions taken surrounding the communal rooms.
• There is a horticulture project on the Treehaven site where vegetables and plants are grown with the input and care from the tenants.

Treehaven Bungalows are situated in the village of West Runton, which lies within a North Norfolk Conservation area and as such is an area of natural beauty. The village itself has several shops and local amenities as well as transport links to nearby towns and the city of Norwich. Jeesal Group also provides a company vehicle to be used as and when desired.
