At Creswick House, we provide the opportunity for thirteen people with a learning disability to create their own home. This has been achieved successfully since 1994 when the home was opened to provide the level of independence that could be offered to those living so close to the centre of town.

In 2002 the home was sub divided into two interlinked living areas with seven people downstairs and six people upstairs. Building work has been completed in regards to the ground floor unit for an additional bedroom with en-suite facilities. The ground floor area, being a specialised service for the elderly, has seven bedrooms with one having en-suite shower room. There is an assisted bath and walk in shower facility. The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped to a high specification. As with all homes it forms a central part for all tenants to prepare drinks, or a variety of meals with the level of support required.

A bus route links Fakenham to a range of places including the City of Norwich, Kings Lynn, Holt, Cromer and Sheringham. As a large town Fakenham benefits from an extensive range of sporting, leisure, educational and community facilities.

Fakenham is situated in the beautiful North Norfolk countryside with its magnificent views, walks and inspiration. The service also provides access to two vehicles, one being wheelchair accessible, to enable individuals to access wider resources.

The communal rooms consist of a dining room, a large lounge and a small seating area which are well furnished and provides a relaxed atmosphere to the tenants that wish to watch T. V., listen to music, or simply socialise.

The first floor area has six bedrooms of which one has an en-suite bathroom and one has a w.c. There is a bathroom and separate shower facility. The kitchen is fully equipped to a high standard. The communal rooms consist of a large dining room, which also can be used for activities as well as a separate lounge.

There is a separate day care area on the second floor consisting of two multi purpose activity rooms.

To the rear of the house there are two separate garden areas, one providing facilities for the ground floor accommodation and one for the first floor.
