Heathers

At Heathers, we provide the opportunity for 7 people with a learning disability and/or autism to create their own home within six separate units.

The staff at Heathers help the tenants to manage complex behaviours resulting from the issues of their learning disability and/or autism. Therefore, there is a high staff ratio on duty throughout the 24 hour period to enable the tenants to be an active part within the local community.

Heathers is located within ½ mile of Bacton and the beautiful North Norfolk coast can be seen from the grounds.

The village has several small shops and local amenities. The towns of North Walsham and Mundesley are within a ten minute drive of the village. A bus and train route links North Walsham to a range of places including the City of Norwich, Kings Lynn and Holt.

As a large town North Walsham benefits from an extensive range of sporting, leisure, educational and community facilities. The service also provides access to vehicles to enable individuals to access wider resources.

There are two main buildings and they are set out as follows

Barns:- provide three one bedded units and one two bedded unit

Main House:- converted into two one bedded units.

Each of the above units have individual bedrooms with ensuite bath/shower facilities and kitchen/lounges.

There are also separate and secure garden areas.
