At Salcasa we provide the opportunity for five people with a Learning Disability to create their own home within a well modernised bungalow setting. Salcasa opened in August 2001 and has taken an active part within the local community.

Salcasa is located in the thriving village of Buxton which has a range of services including a post office, several shops, takeaway, horse riding stables and several public houses.

Buxton is centrally located equal distance from the city of Norwich, Wroxham and Aylsham. There is a regular bus service to these areas which alongside the provision of the homes own vehicle allows easy access to educational, social and recreational activities.

The main house has four single bedrooms all of which have full en-suite facilities. The tenants are actively encouraged to personalise their bedrooms and take an active part in any decisions taken surrounding the communal rooms.

The kitchen is fully fitted and equipped to a high standard. As with all homes it forms a central part for all tenants to prepare drinks, or a variety of meals with the level of support required.

There is a large lounge area and adjoined conservatory.

To the side there is a single bedded annex that has its own independent access, whilst being linked to the main house. The accommodation comprises of a large single bedroom with full en-suite facilities and a large lounge with kitchen area included.

The annex has its own garden area.
