The Grange

The Grange provides accommodation for 15 patients, with views of the gardens and sits alongside the Grade II listed Manor building.

  • The Grange provides accommodation for patients who may require intensive staff support up to a low secure standard.
  • It has a nurturing environment that provides regular supportive feedback for appropriate behaviour and that actively promotes positive role modelling.
  • The 15 large single bedrooms all have en suite facilities and the communal areas include large secure garden, dining room, quiet rooms, games room and TV lounge.

Experienced staff supervise all areas to ensure everyone’s safety

Admission Criteria

  • Male and Female Adults
  • Detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended in 2007) or accommodated under the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
  • Who have a borderline or significant Learning Disability.
  • Who may also have a co-presenting mental health problem, personality disorder, forensic history or challenging behaviour.

Care and Treatment

Our services are delivered through a fully integrated multi-professional and inter-disciplinary team approach, drawing upon the specialisation and strengths of the entire professional team. The team consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nurses, support workers and an independent advocacy service. They offer a variety of clinical and holistic therapeutic approaches within each service to ensure individual needs are met.
