The Lodge

The Lodge is an award winning circular building that is light, spacious and sympathetic to its natural surroundings. It is situated within the 125-acre rural Hospital grounds, next to the wooded area with views over the open countryside.

  • The Lodge is a locked ward that provides assessment and treatment services.
  • Its unique design holds an enclosed garden at its centre, enabling patients to access outside space whilst remaining safe.
  • The Lodge has separate wings for male and female patients.

All 14 large single bedrooms have en suite facilities, and individual thermal and light controls that may be altered to meet specific needs.

There are also large separate bathrooms with a full-length bath to enjoy.

Communal areas include a large TV lounge, quiet rooms with a range of soft furnishings, a fully equipped games room and dining room.

Experienced staff supervise all areas to ensure everyone’s safety
