The Manor

  • The Manor is a Grade II listed building and 15 bedded Care Home with nursing.
  • There are separate facilities for male and female patients from both working age and the older adults groups.  
  • Support is provided to enable the patients to acquire the requisite skills in line with overall potential, ensuring that participation has personal meaning and value.
  • Within the Manor patients can make use of the library and therapy rooms, or relax in the comfortable lounges.
  • The Manor also holds our kitchen and dining area, with meals prepared using fresh produce grown by our Horticultural Group where possible.

   
There are 15 large single bedrooms, all with en suite facilities and beautiful views of the gardens.

The Manor offers a non-secure environment for further treatment and rehabilitation.



Admission Criteria

  •  Male and Female Adults
  •  Patients can be admitted to The Manor either informally or detained under the Mental Health Act 1983 (as amended in 2007) or accommodated under the Mental Capacity Act 2005, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).

                    

Care and Treatment

Our services are delivered through a fully integrated multi-professional and inter-disciplinary team approach, drawing upon the specialisation and strengths of the entire professional team. The team consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nurses, support workers and an independent advocacy service. They offer a variety of clinical and holistic therapeutic approaches within each service to ensure individual needs are met.
