The Manor Flats

To complete the care pathway at Jeesal Cawston Park we have individual flats that provide longer-term support as a ‘step-down’ from the more secure provisions.

These flats provide accommodation and support for patients who require specialist input, but who no longer need the structure of a more restrictive environment.

Through the step down accommodation we aim to provide patients with the physical, social, psychological and emotional skills necessary to function safely within the community.

The 5 flats contain large single bedrooms, all with en suite facilities, and individual sitting rooms. The communal kitchen and dining area provides facilities for individuals to prepare meals and drinks with appropriate levels of support.

The Manor Flats ‘step down’ provision is mirrored in two bungalows that sit within the hospital perimeter, which enables a smooth transition to discharge.

Care and Treatment

Our services are delivered through a fully integrated multi-professional and inter-disciplinary team approach, drawing upon the specialisation and strengths of the entire professional team. The team consists of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, nurses, support workers and an independent advocacy service. They offer a variety of clinical and holistic therapeutic approaches within each service to ensure individual needs are met.

Assessment Package

Our Therapeutic Team provides a variety of specialised assessment and treatment services within a person centred framework, based on individual need and informed by a detailed individual clinical formulation. See our Activities and Therapies menu for more detailed information.
